The Logic of Tax Cuts

A pretty constant meme from the left is that we need to increase taxes in order to increase revenue. Well,

since the end of last September, tax collections have grown at 10.5 percent, while federal cash outlays have risen only 6.1 percent.

Now many on the left will admit that the tax cuts helped with the recession. Will they admit that it also led to increased tax revenue..... Don't hold your breath.
